About Me
With more than 15 years of experience in the medical field and the past three years dedicated to Women’s Health as a Perinatal Community Health Worker, I have had the honor of supporting high risk women and their families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and healing. My work is grounded in trauma informed care, evidence based education, and a deep commitment to strengthening maternal and infant wellness in our community.
I take my role seriously, but I also believe that warmth, authenticity, and the occasional smile go a long way during such meaningful seasons of life.

My Approach
As a lifelong learner, I continually expand my experience in high risk pregnancy support, postpartum recovery, bereavement and loss, lactation, NICU informed care, and full spectrum doula work. I believe every family carries its own story and inner wisdom, and my role is to walk beside you with grounded presence, clear guidance, and compassion through every season of your journey. And if we happen to laugh together along the way, that is simply part of healing too.

My Journey Into Motherhood
I am a mother to four living children and an angel baby. My path into motherhood began with a twin pregnancy in which I was blessed to bring one of my babies home. This experience forever shaped my heart, my purpose, and the way I honor families navigating both joy and sorrow.
Motherhood taught me that life can hold love and loss at the same time, and that families deserve steady, wholehearted support through it all.

Why I Became a Doula
Over the years working with pregnant individuals and families, I have seen firsthand how many feel abandoned after leaving the hospital. The time between delivery and the first postpartum appointment is tender, vulnerable, and often overwhelming. It is a season filled with physical recovery, emotional shifts, and major life adjustments, yet it is also a time when a person’s health needs can easily be pushed aside.
Postpartum doula support brings layers of care that truly matter, and I am grateful Medicaid and many commercial insurance plans are beginning to recognize the importance of this service. Families deserve support, not survival mode, and I am honored to be part of that shift.

Outside of Birth Work
Fall is my favorite season, with Spring close behind. As a lover of art, I find so much beauty in the way nature paints the world during these times with the warm tones of Autumn and the gentle renewal of Spring. These shifts are where I often find grounding. I recharge by spending time with family exploring Michigan’s trails, kayaking quiet waters, and exploring all our great state has to offer.
I can easily become immersed in my diverse playlist that refuses to fit into just one genre. Shuffle mode in my world is a wild ride; acoustic, hip hop, worship, and the occasional song I forgot existed.
For those who know me, my devotion to the Green Bay Packers is legendary. What started as a surprise stadium tour in 2023 has now turned into an annual mission for my fiancé and me. We are determined to visit all 30 NFL stadiums ~ one overpriced hot dog and dramatic touchdown dance at a time.
I am learning to embrace meditation, finding grounding in stillness and intentional breathing. At my core, I am always learning and growing, both personally and within my community, and I bring that same commitment to every family I support.
