Lactation & Feeding Support

Feeding your baby should feel like a time of connection, not confusion or frustration. Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, pumping, or exploring combination feeding, my goal is to provide calm, practical guidance that supports both you and your baby.

Lactation Support is included with all of my doula services, though it can also be scheduled as a stand-alone session for families who simply need help finding their rhythm with feeding. I am a trained lactation specialist with experience supporting diverse feeding situations, always in a gentle, judgement-free way.

What’s Included in Lactation Support

Each visit is tailored to your unique goals, baby’s needs, and family dynamics.

Support may include:

  • Breastfeeding Guidance: Positioning, latch techniques, milk supply support, and comfort strategies for nursing parents.
  • Bottle-Feeding and Pumping Support: Safe preparation, paced-feeding methods, and help choosing equipment that fits your lifestyle.
  • Combination Feeding: Gentle guidance to find balance between breast, bottle, and pumping routines.
  • Feeding Education for Support People: Practical ways partners, family members, or caregivers can assist with feedings, bonding, and emotional support.
  • Emotional Reassurance: Encouragement and validation for every feeding journey — no guilt, no pressure, just care.
  • Referrals as Needed: If additional clinical support is required, I can connect you with trusted Lactation Consultants for advanced assessment or medical concerns.

Why Lactation Support Matters

Feeding your baby is about nourishment, but it is also about connection, healing, and confidence. My approach is rooted in understanding that every parent-baby pair is different, and every feeding story is valid. Whether you are establishing your first latch, navigating supply challenges, or simply need reassurance that you’re doing it right, you will be met with compassion, knowledge, and unwavering support.

Together, we’ll build a plan that works for your body, your baby, and your family — so that feeding becomes not just a task, but a shared, peaceful moment of bonding.
